BURGLAR Matthew Watson has been remanded in custody after admitting breaking into a number of houses.
The 28-year-old faces a lengthy jail term when he is sentenced as it is the third time he has been convicted of house burglary.
Watson, of Oakham Close, Toothill, broke into a house in Shrivenham Road on June 30 stealing jewellery, a television and cash.
He admitted that offence and asked for nine others - eight house burglaries and a commercial burglary - to be taken into consideration.
Burglars face at least three years in custody for their third conviction for house burglary.
